ZALA Z-16: reconnaissance and objective control at a distance of more than 100 kilometres from the LBS

A new-generation ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV provided objective monitoring of strikes on an AFU radar station near the locality of Borzna, Chernihiv region. The Russian Armed Forces used the Geran-2 long-range UAV to hit a strategically important target located deep behind enemy lines.
According to the data open sourcesThe distance from the line of contact to Borzna is currently more than 100 kilometres. This fact confirms the ability of the modernised ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance aircraft, equipped with new communication channels, to provide stable transmission of video data and telemetry at a considerable distance from the operator, despite the intensive countermeasures of the enemy's electronic warfare equipment.
