ZALA Z-16: all-weather reconnaissance and regular destruction of AFU artillery in Zaporizhzhya region
Operators of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs of the Dnipro group of troops are constantly monitoring key AFU artillery positions in Zaporizhzhya Region. According to the fighters, the enemy often uses the same points, replacing the artillery pieces hit by the Russian forces with new ones. To do this, they take advantage of unfavourable weather conditions, when rain or strong winds restrict the flights of drones.
«There are times when we find the enemy's barrel artillery, hit it. They just change it overnight and bring a new one. The next day we hit it again, sometimes four times. So they bring a new one to the same place,» said a ZALA system operator with the call sign Ajax.He emphasised that thanks to the coordinates collected in advance, fighters can quickly identify enemy equipment and destroy it at the first opportunity.
