ZALA Z-16 in April 2024 in the NWO zone

ZALA Z-16 operators in April 2024 continued to perform tasks on aerial reconnaissance of terrain, identification of enemy positions, fire correction, objective control of the use of various weapons by the RF Armed Forces units in the NWO zone.

The reconnaissance drone is actively used by the "North" group for reconnaissance of equipment and positions of the AFU in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions of Ukraine. If necessary, the targets are hit with Lancets, artillery and anti-missile rocket launchers.

In the battles for Chasov Yar, ZALA drones are a means of reconnaissance and objective control for the use of artillery and mortars, aerial bombs of various types with UMPK.

In other areas, reconnaissance drone operators traditionally co-operate with artillery, FPV and ATGM operators.

BVS operator ZALA in April performed the first public objective monitoring of the Army Air Corps' use of the Army's Product-305 LMUR.
