ZALA drones helped apprehend a gang of "black loggers" in Primorye Territory

A joint raid by a combined team of the FSB Primorye Department, Rosgvardia and local forestry ended with the detention of poachers cutting down valuable timber - Mongolian oak. The offenders were detected with the help of the ZALA 421-16E BVS.

Since ZALA unmanned systems have been used in the region, detecting illegal loggers has become much easier. Drones regularly patrol the vast forests of the Far East during the day and night, helping to detect intruders and monitor the fire situation in the region.

Thanks to photo and video recording, law enforcement and environmental organisations can not only catch "black loggers" red-handed, but also use these materials as evidence in court. The case is being investigated and the loggers are facing criminal proceedings.
