ZALA has joined the international «Garden of Remembrance» campaign in Udmurtia
Staff from ZALA took part in the international environmental and commemorative campaign «Garden of Remembrance». This large-scale event, aimed at honouring the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and restoring the forest, took place within the Yaksur-Bodinsky Forest District. On a 34-hectare site, activists worked together to plant 119,000 pine saplings.
It is important to note that the symbolic meaning of the project today extends beyond historical memory. The new forest is dedicated not only to those who defended the Motherland in 1941–1945, but also to those who continue to defend it now – during the special military operation. The company embodies the memory of the generation of victors and its deep respect for those on the front lines today through concrete actions. This sense of solidarity remains an important part of the team's life.
