Aerial photography of the city of Tomsk
ZALA AERO specialists completed an aerial photography project of the city of Tomsk, commissioned by the Department of Architecture and Construction of the city administration.
The main task was to get high-quality photos of the city and to meet the deadline when the snow had already melted, but the leaves had not yet blossomed. Therefore, flights were conducted daily, despite difficult weather conditions.
Aerial photography was simultaneously performed by three ZALA Z-16 geodetic planes with a new target load — двумя полнокадровыми фотоаппаратами, расположенными под углом в 60° друг к другу. Такое решение позволяет получить больший объем информации за меньшее время.
In 14 days, 262,541 photos were acquired, which will become the basis for an orthophotoplane and a high-precision 3D model of the city.
