ZALA AERO will provide the Liza Alert search and rescue team with a ZALA 421-08LA aircraft, and will also engage the company's flight crews in search and rescue operations in 60 regions of Russia. This was announced at the VI All-Russian Forum of the Liza Alert search team.

The BVS will help Liza Alert volunteers to search for missing people in places that are hard to reach by ordinary vehicles, and will also save search time when a person's life depends on every minute. Moreover, ZALA AERO employees in Izhevsk will provide training for representatives of the search and rescue team. This will allow the ZALA 421-08LA to be used without involving specialists. The drone can stay in the air for 1.5 hours, its flight length is 100 kilometres, and its communication range with the ground station is 20 kilometres.

ZALA AERO flight units involved in aerial monitoring of oil and gas companies' infrastructure in 60 regions of the country will also provide assistance to the Liza Alert team on a permanent basis. In 2019, ZALA specialists have already taken part in two search and rescue operations, and this system of searching for missing people using UAVs has shown its effectiveness. High-resolution aerial photography allows for the creation of up-to-date maps for the search, while video footage and artificial intelligence-based software of ZALA's UAV systems helps to search for missing people in real time.
