Artillery units, supported by ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs, destroyed Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV command posts, equipment and personnel
Reconnaissance UAVs of the ZALA Z-16 type, operated by the unmanned systems units of the «West» group, continue to identify targets in the area where the special military operation is taking place. During aerial reconnaissance of the enemy’s forward positions, operators spotted Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel preparing an attack drone for launch. Camouflaged shelters for personnel were also identified from the air.
The operator of the ZALA Z-16 system carried out a detailed video recording of the targets and determined their exact coordinates. The intelligence data obtained was immediately forwarded to the artillery command post of the «West» group. The crews of the D-30 towed howitzers swiftly acquired the targets and opened rapid fire on the identified targets. Strike adjustments and objective verification of target destruction were also carried out in real time by the crew of the ZALA Z-16 UAV.
The ZALA Z-16 systems provide continuous intelligence gathering on the deployment and strength of enemy forces in the frontline zone. This critical real-time data is fed to assault units, enabling them to plan and carry out combat missions effectively.
