ZALA ZARYA unmanned aerial systems improve the operational capabilities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Khakassia

Specialists of the unmanned aviation unit of the Main Directorate of Aviation EMERCOM of Russia in the Republic of Khakassia successfully mastered the new ZALA ZARYA-1M unmanned aerial vehicle systems. In the course of training flights, the agency's specialists practised all stages of using the ZALA UAVs, confirming their readiness to carry out tasks to ensure the safety of the population.

«The new drone significantly expands our capabilities for prompt response to emergencies. Thanks to the increased range and flight duration, we will be able to cover large areas and receive up-to-date information online. Compared to the helicopter-type drones we used earlier, the technological growth is very big,» said Evgeny Monin, head of the group for organising and controlling the use of unmanned aerial systems of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Khakassia.
After the completion of the cycle of training flights, ZALA ZARYA complexes will be used in scheduled activities. They are designed to monitor the situation, search for people, survey infrastructure after natural disasters, and work in the centres of forest fires and floods.
