ZALA ZARYA: Technology to save lives

Congratulations to the employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations on their professional holiday!
The 27th of December is the Day of the Rescuer of the Russian Federation. It was on this day in 1990 that the Russian Rescue Corps was formed, which was later transformed into the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia. Since the establishment of the agency, people have been working here for whom the profession of "rescuer" is, above all, a vocation that requires courage, dedication and readiness to come to the rescue in any situation.
ZALA has been co-operating with the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for more than 15 years. As the experience of joint work has shown, aerial monitoring of emergency territories with the help of UAVs allows rescuers to control the situation and timely take all necessary measures to save the lives and health of citizens. This year, as part of the early fulfilment of contractual obligations for 2024 and 2025, specialised ZALA ZARYA complexes were added to the technical fleet of the Russian EMERCOM. The unmanned vehicles will be deployed to regional divisions of the Ministry in more than 60 Russian cities from the Caucasus to Naryan-Mar to monitor and forecast emergency situations.
ZALA ZARYA complexes are an improved version of the UAS, designed to meet the requirements and tasks faced by rescue services. The unmanned aircraft is designed for aerial monitoring of territories at any time of day and in the most difficult climatic conditions. Thanks to the professional optical devices installed on board and the possibility of using the unified ZALA software loop, which includes all unmanned aircraft systems of the company, the ZARYA complex is capable of transmitting high-quality images of the terrain in real time at a distance of more than 60 kilometres. In addition, the data obtained during monitoring can be automatically processed using artificial intelligence software and also transmitted to ground services in real time.
Thus, the new technical capabilities of the ZALA unmanned complex will allow rescuers to respond to natural and man-made emergencies as quickly as possible and make informed decisions on their elimination.
