ZALA ZARYA unmanned aerial vehicles expand their geographic reach
Specialists from the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Republic of Mari El successfully conducted Training flights of the ZALA ZARYA-1M unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) were conducted. During the flight, supervised by the unit's leadership, all key tactical and technical characteristics of the vehicle were tested in a routine manner, including navigation, controllability, and integration into the existing UAV control system. Based on the test results, the system was recommended for further use and inclusion in the unit's operational support system.
Also the department reported The Zabaikalsky Krai rescue team has received the ZALA ZARYA-1 unmanned aerial vehicle. Designed specifically for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the vehicle is now ready for operation in the region's challenging climate. Equipped with powerful optics and a thermal imager for round-the-clock monitoring, it can remain airborne for up to four hours and transmit data over a distance of 20 km. The unit's operators have completed a full training course on how to operate the system.
The expansion of the unmanned aerial vehicle fleet allows Russian rescue services to improve the effectiveness of monitoring and response, as demonstrated by hundreds of successful applications.
