ZALA UAVs received new onboard AI systems for aerial monitoring of fuel and energy complex facilities.

Russian oil and gas companies have begun large-scale implementation of an artificial intelligence-enabled aerial monitoring system developed by ZALA. This innovative solution, known as IRRA, is already being actively used at leading fuel and energy companies and is transforming approaches to environmental monitoring and critical infrastructure security.

ZALA unmanned aerial systems, equipped with the IRRA hardware and software suite, are capable of not only capturing video in daytime and nighttime, but also autonomously identifying and classifying detected objects in UAV video feeds, transmitting the processed information to a ground station. According to testing, over 70% events are recorded in real time, significantly reducing response times.

Industry experts emphasize that automated monitoring not only minimizes risks but also significantly reduces operating costs, especially when working at remote and hard-to-reach sites.
