A missing man found in the Sverdlovsk region with the help of a Rosgvardiya drone

Employees of the special purpose aviation detachment of the Sverdlovsk Region Rosgvardia Directorate assisted rescuers in searching for a citizen missing in a forest area.
Today, the head of the territorial department of the Russian Federal Guard received a request from the Polevskiy OMVD of Russia to assist in the search for a missing local resident. The night before, a man born in 1980 went for a walk with his dog in the direction of the forest and did not return. The search efforts were joined by members of the AOSN of the Sverdlovsk Region's Rosgvardia Department, as well as rescuers from the Urals Regional Search and Rescue Unit of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
The man contacted his relatives several times on his mobile phone, but soon the battery ran out and the connection was cut off. Rescuers surveyed the search area from the ground, while Rosgvardiya officers meanwhile explored the area with the help of a drone. After 10 hours of searching, the Rosgvardiya drone found the missing man.
During the flight, a ZALA-421 aircraft equipped with a special video camera transmitted an image to the squadron's specialists, from which they established the presumed location of a man lost in the forest. The coordinates were immediately sent to the ground search team.
Having coordinated actions with Rosgvardiya officers, the rescuers came to the lost citizen within an hour and evacuated him to a populated area. Now the man's life and health are not threatened, he refused to be hospitalised.
