Russian Defense Ministry: ZALA Lancet performs a full cycle of missions at ranges of up to 100 km

The crews of the ZALA Lancet reconnaissance and strike systems perform a full cycle of tasks – from aerial reconnaissance to precision strikes on confirmed targets at a range of up to 100 km, reports Russian Ministry of Defence.

ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs quickly identify enemy vehicle concentrations, firing positions, and shelters, then transmit their coordinates and video feed to the command post. To deliver strikes depending on the target type, Lancet loitering munitions are equipped with specialized warheads: shaped-charge warheads for use against armored vehicles and high-explosive fragmentation warheads for use against personnel and fortified targets. A semiautomatic guidance system ensures high accuracy, automatically adjusting the trajectory based on weather conditions and target movement.

Today, each ZALA "Lancet" crew has destroyed dozens of enemy vehicles.

«"As a rule, these are armored vehicles, tanks, armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, artillery pieces, self-propelled guns, ground control stations, and electronic warfare systems. In other words, we've hit everything," said Junior Sergeant Denis Tartumashev, a combat engineer operator with the special forces unit of the Center group of forces.
