A ZALA «Lancet» gun crew from the 90th Tank Division destroyed dozens of Ukrainian Armed Forces vehicles
Calculation by the ZALA «Lancet» Command Unit The 15th Separate Battalion of the 90th Guards Tank Division, part of the «Centre» group, is assisting Russian units in advancing in the Dnipropetrovsk sector of the Joint Operational Command. The crew’s combat operations begin with the launch of a Z-16 reconnaissance UAV, which surveys the terrain, identifies targets and determines their nature. The data is transmitted to command, after which various weapons are deployed, including air strikes, the monitoring of which is also carried out by the Z-16 operators.
Lancet loitering munitions are regularly used to destroy equipment and strongpoints. A shaped-charge warhead is used against armoured vehicles, while a high-explosive fragmentation warhead is used against personnel and fortifications. Launching is carried out both against a detected target and in a free-hunt mode, where the operator searches for an object through powerful optics with onboard support of the IRRA intelligent system.
Among the latest targets hit are an IFV, which was loading a mortar crew for a rotation, and an enemy pickup truck. Having tracked its movement, the operators located the deployment site of the AFU group and destroyed the vehicle along with the crew.
