Electronic warfare is no problem: another Ukrainian Armed Forces «Buk» air defence system has been destroyed by the ZALA «Lancet» missile system

In the Zaporizhzhia region, whilst conducting flights deep within enemy territory, operators of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV belonging to the Novorossiysk Guards Airborne Unit of the «Dnipro» military group detected a «Buk» air defence system moving into position. The moving Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment was destroyed by a precision strike from a «Lancet» loitering munition, equipped with Intelligent targeting and recognition system IRRA.

«We mainly operate using artillery. <…> Sometimes we have to engage motor vehicles. The enemy is heavily screening the sky with electronic warfare systems and other interceptors. <…> It’s no problem for the "Lancet" to lock onto a target and destroy a vehicle,» shared an operator of the ZALA «Lancet» guided missile system, call sign ‘Rhinoceros’.
