Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment is being destroyed by a Marine Corps ZALA «Lancet» anti-tank gun crew
The Lancets of the 61st Guards Marine Brigade of the «Centre» grouping are operating in the Dobropillya direction, destroying armoured vehicles and trucks, including during rotation. Strikes are being carried out on stationary and moving targets at a significant distance from the line of contact.
«Our ZALA drone was conducting reconnaissance in our troops„ area of responsibility. <…> We detected an enemy combat vehicle carrying up to six personnel entering the settlement. The decision was taken to deploy the “Lancet» loitering munition and engage the target with fire,” said the commander of the unmanned systems company, call sign Bryansk.According to the troops, information on priority targets is most often relayed to the operators of the «Lancet» loitering munitions by ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs. Once a target has been detected and analysed, the munition is guided towards it in semi-automatic mode and delivers a precision strike. The soldiers also note the ongoing development of the «Lancet» guided munition system.
«The range of UAVs has increased, and their resistance to enemy EW systems has improved. For »Product-51”, flight time and range have also increased. Communications are constantly being modernised so that we can hit the enemy deep in their rear," said the platoon commander with the call sign "Kot".
