Calculations by the Ruk «Lancet» group of the «Sever» grouping knock out the SBU radar systems in the Sumy region
The Marines of the UAV Battalion of the 810th Separate Guards Brigade are actively searching for and destroying the remaining radar stations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region. This was told by the commander of the «Lancet» UAV platoon of the «Sever» grouping with the call sign «Voruchon». He specified that the operators of the ZALA Z-16 UAV reconnaissance drones are targeting the detection of such facilities in this part of the front—the priority targets are hit using the “Lancet” barrage munitions.
«Our task is to find armored vehicles, concentrations of enemy infantry units, and to detect the enemy air defense system. And, accordingly, we must not get caught by the enemy air defense system. There is always enough work to be done. The radar system is also one of the priority targets right now,» Vorkhun said.
According to him, one of the radars that were hit was the P-18 «Terek» radar system used by the Ukrainian army.
«The P-18 "Terek" radar system is a large radar for detecting aerial targets, not only UAVs; it can also calmly detect airplanes and helicopters. We detected it, and accordingly, with the subsequent report and subsequent destruction of the target,» the commander said.
