REX 1 drone killer tested in the Zvezda studio

In the studio of the Open Air programme, a representative of the REX 1 developer company demonstrated how an electronic gun disables a UAV.

Developers of the Kalashnikov Concern tested the REX 1 electronic gun against drones in the Zvezda studio. It is called a "drone killer", but this compact electronic warfare tool does not even have to destroy the UAV to disarm it.

The main advantage of the REX 1 is that this gun is able to jam mobile communications, Wi-Fi signal, as well as suppress GPS and GLONASS systems.

The laser disables the onboard optoelectronic devices. As a result, the UAV loses contact with the control before it can harm a person.

REX 1 can successfully suppress communication, control and data transmission channels of unmanned aerial vehicles at a distance of up to 500 metres. At the same time, the radius of neutralisation of satellite navigation signals for UAVs reaches 2000 metres.

The REX 1 weighs only 4.5 kilograms. The REX 1 weighs only 4.5 kilograms.

What other features REX 1 has, Nikolay Dardonov, the representative of the company - the developer of the shotgun, told in the programme "Open Air".
