Detecting offenders on Adygea's roads using ZALA drones

The traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Adygea has shared footage of an operation jointly conducted with the special aviation unit of the republic's Rosgvardiya directorate to detect road offenders. Air monitoring of the motorways was carried out using ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles.

Air monitoring of the motorway is carried out in both directions for five kilometres from the DSS outfit.

In the event of a traffic violation, such as crossing a solid line marking, the on-board computer automatically captures the target and "accompanies" the offender's car until it is stopped by traffic police officers.

The situation on the road section entrusted to the UAV is monitored continuously, and flight data is saved on a hard disc. All records with recorded offences can be used in the case file of an administrative offence.

"As a result of the use of drones in 2021 revealed 45 administrative offences related to driving out on the lane of oncoming traffic," - reported in the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Adygea.
