ZALA AERO will continue performing aviation monitoring in the interests of RN-Yuganskneftegaz

ZALA AERO was recognised as the winner in a tender for the provision of aviation monitoring services at RN-Yuganskneftegaz pipeline operation department facilities.

The primary task of aerial monitoring with the use of unmanned systems is the overflight of pipeline routes and well pads to assess their functional and technological condition, as well as to detect incidents related to the storage of household and construction waste, detection of unauthorised equipment and persons in the pipeline protection zone, etc. The main objective of aerial monitoring with the use of unmanned systems is to assess the functional and technological condition of the pipelines and well pads.

The total length of aviation monitoring will be over 3,700,000 kilometres and will be performed at sites in the Mamontovsky, Yugansk, Maisky, Pravdinsky and Priobsky regions.

ZALA unmanned aerial systems, with the ability to combine several target loads, will be used to perform flight missions day and night in order to obtain and broadcast high quality video images in real time to the workplaces of the Customer's stakeholders.

To process and decipher the photographic material received from the drone, in-house software based on neural networks "GeoGraphics" will be used, which will make it possible to promptly identify changes in the pipeline section or well pads of interest. At the Customer's request, orthophotomaps of pipelines and individual objects, territories and areas of the region will also be generated on the basis of previously obtained photographic materials.

Starting from January 2021, the flight teams will start performing the first phases of aviation monitoring works using ZALA unmanned systems. The full range of services will be performed during 3 years until the end of 2023, inclusive.

ZALA AERO has been performing aviation monitoring in the interests of RN-Yuganskneftegaz since 2017, annually increasing the scope and geography of work. Since the middle of the second half of 2020, ZALA specialists have been performing aviation and technical monitoring of capital construction sites and adjacent infrastructure in order to control the performance of construction and repair works at the Customer's facilities.
