ZALA "Lancet" destroys enemy artillery in Zaporizhzhia
A crew of the RUK "Lancet" discovered and destroyed a camouflaged enemy artillery installation in the Orekhovo area in the Zaporizhzhia region. This was reported on December 6. the Russian Ministry of Defence reported.
According to the department, the operator of a ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV, while flying over enemy territory in the Orekhovo area, spotted an artillery piece hidden in the ruins of a dilapidated building. After confirming the target, its coordinates were promptly transmitted to the command post, which decided to deploy the Lancet loitering munition.
Objective control footage from ZALA Z-16 recorded the destruction of an artillery installation.
In the comment, distributed by Izvestia, the crew chief with the call sign "Donbass" emphasized the advantages of such tactics.
«"We're constantly working. We don't have any delays; work is always progressing. Now we can conduct reconnaissance by plane without risking anyone's life. And right now, that's the biggest advantage on the front lines," he said.
