ZALA supported all-Russian children's aeromodelling competitions

ZALA sponsored the All-Russian Scientific and Technical Olympiad in aeromodelling and the Russian Championship in radio-controlled aeromodelling, which took place from 30 June to 6 July at the Patriotic Education Centre of the Izhevsk Pirogovo Aeroclub.

More than 50 young aeromodellers from nine regions of the country took part in the competition. The children competed in piloting various types of radio-controlled models - from aerobatic and racing models to gliders and aircraft replica models. In the team competition of the senior age group the first place was taken by the City Centre of Children's Technical Creativity named after V.P. Chkalov of the Republic of Tatarstan, the second - by the team of the Udmurt Republic, the third - by the team of the Sverdlovsk region. Young athletes from Udmurtia climbed the podium seven times in the individual competition.

ZALA traditionally supports children's competitions and educational projects aimed at popularising technical specialties among young people and developing their creative potential.
