ZALA Z-16 counter-battery operations in conjunction with artillery units
The ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV provided reconnaissance and fire support for the artillery units of the 238th Guards Artillery Brigade.
During an aerial reconnaissance mission, a Z-16 detected a D-30 howitzer belonging to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, camouflaged in a wooded area near the settlement of Raiskoye in the DPR. The target’s coordinates were promptly relayed to the artillery units. The enemy howitzer was destroyed by a precision strike from the artillery. The destruction was confirmed by objective monitoring using a ZALA UAV.
