ZALA Z-16 units are directing artillery fire at Ukrainian Armed Forces UAV command posts on the right bank of the Dnieper

The crews of the ZALA «Lancet» UAVs, part of the «Dnipro» task force, conduct round-the-clock aerial reconnaissance over the Zaporizhzhia region, detecting any signs of Ukrainian Armed Forces activity on the right bank of the Dnipro. It is precisely this painstaking work by the operators of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs that enables precise strikes to be carried out against enemy personnel and military targets.

During one of its routine sorties, a ZALA operator spotted movement in an abandoned settlement. Despite the enemy’s attempts to use the ruins of buildings as cover, they were unable to conceal the movements of their personnel from the high-quality Z-16 cameras. Thanks to radio interception and analysis of the Ukrainian militants’ movements, it was established that a command post for one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ UAV battalions had been set up in a half-ruined building. The target coordinates were passed on to the artillery division of the Ulyanovsk paratroopers, who delivered a precision strike on the enemy’s position.

«Everything is done efficiently, adjustments are made online, and objective monitoring is also carried out online,» said the commander of the ZALA «Lancet» crew, call sign «Dobry».
