ZALA Z-16: objective monitoring of strikes on the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ fortified area on Pervomaisky Island
In the Kherson sector, crews operating ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs provided objective monitoring of air strikes and strikes by attack UAVs on the artificial island of Pervomaisky in the Dnieper-Bug Estuary.
Pervomaisky Island is well fortified and, since its establishment, has served as an artillery fort, and later as a special forces base. The enemy is using it for training saboteurs with foreign instructors, for controlling naval drones and UAVs, and considers it a strategic element of their defence.
«The island is really well protected, and the UAV operators stationed there regularly tried to attack our units on the Kinburn Spit, a serviceman said. The Aerospace Forces and strike drone operators carried out precise strikes on enemy objects and infrastructure located on the island.
