The ZALA Z-16 provided fire support for artillery strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds
During aerial reconnaissance in the Zaporizhzhia region, camouflaged Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds were identified. The enemy attempted to establish a secure foothold in a wooded area by constructing a network of trenches and dugouts with heavy-duty roof structures. The coordinates of the targets were relayed to the crew of the 2S1 «Gvozdika» self-propelled gun of the «Vostok» task force. The crew of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV provided fire correction and objective monitoring of the artillery strikes. With direct hits from high-explosive fragmentation shells, the artillerymen levelled the earthworks and destroyed the enemy’s fortifications.
