ZALA «Lancet»: Right on target! July 2026
July confirmed that the ZALA «Lancet» is capable of destroying a wide variety of targets. Crews operating the ZALA reconnaissance and strike systems were active across the entire front line and throughout the Black Sea, striking the enemy’s communications, logistics and energy infrastructure. Among the targets hit were communications masts, artillery, rotation points, supply convoys and fuel depots.
Special attention was paid by operators to maritime threats: uncrewed surface vessels were destroyed both in daylight and at night. On land, the elimination of artillery pieces and transport vehicles along supply routes continued.
July also saw the deployment of ZALA «Lancet» loitering munitions by the African Corps of the Russian Armed Forces. In the challenging climatic conditions of the Sahel, the system demonstrated its reliability and consistent effectiveness.
