New ZALA ZARYA UAVs help EMERCOM to monitor the flood situation in the Orenburg Region

Employees Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Orenburg region began monitoring the flood situation in the region with the help of new specialised ZALA ZARYA systems. The unmanned aerial systems developed by ZALA with due regard to the requirements of rescuers and the specifics of their work, entered service with the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations at the end of 2024. Currently, the specialists of the Ministry are using ZALA ZARYA UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance of the most dangerous sections of the region's rivers.

"Since the beginning of 2025, 5 flights have been conducted, more than 100 aerial photographs have been taken of areas prone to waterlogging, such as bends in river channels, bridges. But based on these data, orthophotomaps are formed, which help to develop models of waterlogging," reports the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Orenburg region.

EMERCOM specialists pass this information to local authorities to help them prepare for the flood and reduce its consequences.
