KGBU Primorskaya Airbase purchased ZALA unmanned aerial systems

KGBU Primorskaya base of aviation, ground protection and forest protection introduces unmanned monitoring of forests in Primorsky Krai.
For this purpose, the leaders of the organisation purchased two unmanned systems ZALA 421-16E и ZALA 421-16E2. The target loads selected are a 60x optical zoom video camera, a still camera, and a thermal imager.
The main purpose of monitoring is to protect forests from fires and poachers. Previously, light manned aviation was used for this purpose, which is much more expensive and less efficient. ZALA unmanned systems do not require a special runway, are less sensitive to difficult weather conditions, survey the terrain during day and night, are easy to operate and transport, and most importantly, provide information that can later be used as evidence.
Additional ZALA equipment for communication and coordination with ground teams will allow for prompt coordination of actions of all participants during fire monitoring. In the near future, the organisation's employees will be trained in ZALA Training Centrewhere a special programme has already been developed for them based on their tasks.
