The Khabarovsk Territory Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted training flights on the ZALA ZARYA balloon

In Khabarovsk Krai, training flights were conducted with the use of a new unmanned aerial system ZALA ZARYA-1M, which came to the disposal of the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. As noted in the rescue agencyUnmanned aerial vehicles capable of long-term monitoring of large areas are essential for reconnaissance in a wide range of emergency situations.
Employees of unmanned aviation units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations from several regions of the Far East joined the training camp. ZALA instructors introduced the rescuers to the technical characteristics of the ZALA ZARYA and specialised software that allows real-time video transmission over 50 kilometres away.
In the course of the training, practical piloting skills were practised in conditions close to real life. Particular attention was paid to operational safety and efficiency of mission fulfilment. Specialists practised preparing flight routes, piloting with regard to weather conditions and searching for objects on the ground, as well as algorithms of actions in case of emergency situations.
