Pilot testing of airborne laser scanning technology for Rosneft-NTC

The second stage was held in Stavropol pilot tests airborne laser scanning technology for Rosneft-NTC under the Agreement between Rostec State Corporation and Rosneft.
The ZALA 421-16E5 unmanned aerial vehicle of special modification with a laser scanner on board surveyed an area of 40 kilometres. As a result, a three-dimensional relief model was created, which the customer plans to use for engineering surveys.
The accuracy of plan and height measurements of VLS with the help of ZALA 421-16E5 is 1 cm, which is unattainable for other methods of remote sensing. High density of measurements allows obtaining terrain relief hidden under ground vegetation and other ground objects.
