Five thousand shots from the ZALA «Lancet» rocket launcher: continuous evolution
The ZALA «Lancet» multiple rocket launcher has surpassed the 5,000-round mark in the Special Military Operation zone. Data recorded since the start of the special military operation shows that LostArmour portal, reflect the scale of the system's deployment and confirm its demand in engaging a wide range of targets. Among the destroyed objects: artillery systems, tanks and armoured combat vehicles, RADAR, MLRS, reconnaissance assets, USVs и aircraft. «Lancets» are used on practically all fronts of the SMO for counter-battery warfare, destroying air defence and reconnaissance assets, as well as military infrastructure facilities.
Behind the figure 5000 lies not only the statistics of combat operations, but also several years of consistent development of the system. During the SMO, the Lancet has evolved from a high-precision loitering munition to a more autonomous and intelligent system IRRA.
Co-operation with the ZALA Z-16 and Z-20 reconnaissance UAVs, as part of a unified reconnaissance and strike system, plays a significant role in the effectiveness of its deployment. This ensures the detection of targets at considerable range, the transmission of data required to engage them, and objective verification of the results.
The path of 5,000 strikes is a kind of chronicle of the complex's combat deployment. At the same time, it is a starting point for its further development: the accumulated experience becomes the basis for increasing the autonomy, precision and effectiveness of the entire system
