The Lancet loitering munition attack on ZALA disrupted the advance of Ukrainian assault groups in the Zaporizhzhia region.
The ZALA reconnaissance unit of the «Vostok» grouping of troops received information from aerial reconnaissance about the movement of AFU equipment with personnel to the front line. Barrage ammunition «Lancet» was launched into the sector where the targets were located, and Western-made Humvee armoured vehicles and a Ukrainian «Novator» were detected.
The onboard intelligent guidance and target recognition system, IRRA, helped a Lancet operator acquire a moving Humvee and deliver a precision strike. Objective control of enemy equipment destruction was provided by a second loitering munition in the same sector, which then, with the support of the IRRA system, destroyed a Ukrainian Novator armoured vehicle.
