Russian paratroopers used ZALA "Lancet" against AFU Grad MLRS in Kherson region

The Lancet series barrage munitions of the Airborne Forces artillery unit of the Dnipro group of troops destroyed an AFU Grad multiple rocket launcher system in the Kakhovsky district of the Kherson region.

It is noted that the enemy's artillery was camouflaged in a forest belt on the right bank of the Dnipro River and was firing at civilians. The exact coordinates of the target, which was behind the line of contact, were determined during aerial reconnaissance using the ZALA Z-16 unmanned aerial system. After analysing the intelligence received, the decision was made to use a Lancet series barrage munition. Experienced fighters from the unmanned aviation unit of the Airborne Forces artillery unit destroyed the enemy's MLRS with a precision strike.

A fighter from an Airborne Forces unit told about the effectiveness of the ZALA "Lancet".

It should be noted that ZALA reconnaissance and strike systems have become one of the most effective means of counter-battery warfare in the course of the Strategic Defence Forces. Their range of 40 or more kilometres and their ability to remain virtually "invisible" to reconnaissance and electronic warfare equipment make it possible to track down enemy equipment and promptly engage even moving targets.
