RUK «Lancet-E» in Egypt: the ZALA system was showcased at the Egypt International Airshow 2026
The export version of the ZALA reconnaissance and strike complex «Lancet» reconnaissance and strike complex will be on display at the Rosoboronexport stand from 8 to 10 September 2026 as part of the Egypt International Airshow 2026. The event is taking place at El Alamein Airport and will bring together professionals from the aerospace and defence sectors across Africa and the Middle East.
The ZALA technologies showcased in Egypt have already proven their suitability for Africa’s hot and desert climate. The Z-16 reconnaissance UAVs and «Lancet» loitering munitions are being used by military personnel Africa Corps of the Russian Ministry of Defence, demonstrating performance in a challenging climatic environment.
The exhibition features export versions of the «Izdeliye 51E» and «Izdeliye 52E» loitering munitions, as well as the Z-16E reconnaissance UAV. The practical effectiveness of the system continues to find new confirmation in the SMO zone: to date, more than 5 thousand instances of using Lancets«. At the same time, the product is constantly evolving — technical capabilities are being improved, and deployment scenarios and tactics are expanding.
Participation in the Egypt International Airshow 2026 provided ZALA with yet another opportunity to present the latest export version of the «Lancet-E» and to demonstrate how its accumulated experience is being applied in new technologies and solutions for overseas customers.
