ZALA AERO invests in the training of future professionals

ZALA AERO signed a partnership agreement on co-operation with the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies, which trains specialists in geodesy, cartography, ecology and land management.

As part of the cooperation, the company handed over to the university an unmanned ZALA 421-16EM complex with built-in geodetic equipment. Now the university students will practically master the methods of remote sensing of the earth using modern equipment. With the help of the unmanned complex they will conduct aerial photography, process the obtained images, stitch them into orthophotomaps, build digital terrain models based on them. All this will later become the basis for scientific works and creative projects.

Caprik Alexander Petrovich, rector of SGUGiT, considers it a great step forward, "a meeting point between scientific theory and practice, which will raise the level of students' training and allow them to apply modern scientific basis for solving applied problems".
