ZALA AERO has developed the Italmas kamikaze drone

ZALA AERO Group has developed a kamikaze drone, called Italmas, which was first presented at the Army 2023 international military-technical forum. 

The Italmas has an internal combustion engine that uses fuel from tanks located in the wings of the drone. The drone can manoeuvre at altitude and make turns. The drone is a completely domestic development.

Alexander Zakharov, chief designer of the ZALA AERO group of companies, specified that the drone has a longer range, exceeding 200 kilometres, and a larger drone warhead, which allows it to inflict more damage to the conditional enemy. 

The Izdelie-54 drone, aka Italmas, has already passed all the necessary tests last winter and is ready for mass production.
