The Academy of the Federal Security Service of Russia has acquired the REX-1 anti-drone

ZALA AERO won the tender for the supply of REX-1 anti-drone conducted by the Academy of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation, Orel. The Academy's management plans to use REX-1 for training purposes - cadets of the educational institution will perform tactical tasks to neutralise spy drones.

REX-1 is a lightweight and compact device that suppresses the drone's control and data transmission channel at a distance of 500 m, and suppresses the signal of satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS) at a radius of 2 km. Thus, the drone is deprived of communication with the operator and is unable to navigate using the SNS signal. REX-1 is also effective in neutralising any other devices that use satellite navigation.

Last year the REX-1 antidrone was certified and recognised as safe for humans, the device fully complies with the SanPiN norms.
