In the Tula region, ZALA AERO drones track pass violators

The aircraft is launched every day on the M-2 "Krym" and M-4 "Don" motorways.

The Tula Region has started monitoring entrances to the region using aerial surveillance. This instruction was given by Governor Alexey Dyumin, the press service of the regional government reported.

For example, specialists from the Centre for Information Technologies launch a drone every day on the M-2 "Krym" and M-4 "Don" highways. The drones find cars trying to enter the Tula region on country roads bypassing checkpoints.

According to Alexander Semiletov, head of the drone operations group at the Centre for Information Technologies, the surveillance is conducted with the help of a drone that is normally used for aerial photography and updating geodetic information.

"The drone transmits a video signal up to 70 kilometres from the take-off point"

If the device finds violators, the coordinates of the place of illegal entry into the Tula region are sent to the government for action.

We would like to remind you that the digital pass regime has been in force in the Tula Region since 30 April. It is impossible to cross the border of the region without an identity document and a special pass with a QR code.
