With the help of Polar Airlines drones, rescuers monitor the flood situation

Polar Airlines' unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are involved in monitoring the flood situation in the central regions of the republic.

At the request of the Republican Rescue Service, specialists from the UAV operation group conducted reconnaissance and visual inspection of the ice drift near the village of Krest Kytyl, Namsky District. For three hours they took photos and videos from a height of 400 to 600 metres.

The collected materials were transferred to the Rescue Service for analysis. Drones will be able to monitor the situation in real time during floods and rescue operations.
Aerial photography can help determine water levels, predict flooding, and see how water begins to flood an area. The information obtained in this way will provide an opportunity to prepare for and respond to a disaster more quickly.
