The Head of the Russian EMERCOM got acquainted with the production of specialised ZALA ZARYA ABCs

Alexander Kurenkov, Head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, visited the ZALA research centre "Italmas". The main purpose of the visit of the head of the federal department was to get acquainted with ZALA unmanned technologies, which have been in the service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for more than 15 years.
Alexander Zakharov, Chief Designer, gave the distinguished guest a tour of the company's production facilities. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the production of the new ZALA ZARYA unmanned aerial systems designed specifically for rescue services. This type of UAV is designed for aerial monitoring of territories at any time of day and in difficult weather conditions. ZALA ZARYA can transmit high-quality images at a distance of more than 50 kilometres, which allows EMERCOM employees to monitor the situation at large and remote sites and effectively coordinate the work of rescue units. At the end of 2024, ZALA unmanned aerial vehicles were delivered to regional divisions of the Ministry in more than 60 Russian cities.
The Chief Designer of the company also told Alexander Kurenkov about the new capabilities of the 4Z1 information system, which is available for the ZALA ZARYA UAS. The ZALA digital platform allows to connect UAS to a single software loop under the control of 4Z1 and automatically decode the results of aerial surveys, quickly and accurately identify changes in objects. This simplifies the monitoring of large objects, e.g. during forest fires or floods.
The head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also appreciated the ZALA training centre, which trains BVS operators for the whole country. This profession is in great demand nowadays. The cadets learn to work in conditions close to real conditions, undergo pre-flight training, and learn to eliminate possible malfunctions. The training centre is equipped with a set of modern simulators; special software allows students to practice the skills of operating the aircraft in different weather conditions and at any time of the day.
Alexander Kurenkov emphasised the importance of high technologies in rescuing people, which make the work of the Ministry of Emergency Situations faster, more accurate and safer.
