ZALA Z-16 UAV calculations disrupt enemy force rotation

With the support of ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV operators, an AFU temporary deployment point in the South Donetsk direction was destroyed. An enemy position camouflaged in a forest belt was identified using the onboard thermal imager of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAV. The coordinates of the target were transmitted to the command centre of the artillery of the Vostok force group, where a decision was taken to launch a missile strike.

A Uragan MLRS unit moved into the area of operational use and fired 220 mm rockets from 25 kilometres into the AFU position. ZALA Z-16 operators provided the artillery fire correction and objective control of the destruction of the target. According to the servicemen, the Uragan MLRS crews are working in close co-operation with the ZALA BVS and are carrying out missile strikes on ammunition and provision depots identified during aerial reconnaissance, as well as destroying supply convoys, disrupting the rotation of enemy forces.

ZALA Z-16 UASs are capable of operating at any time of the day, including in conditions of countermeasures of REB, transmitting high-quality images at a distance of more than 70 km. They have become an indispensable means of reconnaissance, as well as correction and objective control of strikes by artillery, aviation and barrage munitions of the Lancet family.
