ZALA Z-16 guided «Hyacinths»: pinpoint destruction of APU strongholds near Kharkiv
An effective combination of ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance drones and self-propelled artillery ensured the destruction of camouflaged enemy strongholds in the Kharkiv region. The high resolution of thermal imagers and video cameras, as well as the high-quality video signal from the ZALA Z-16, despite the active operation of enemy EW systems, allowed the crew to detect AFU positions by characteristic control antennas and repeaters.
Artillery crews of the 11th Army Corps received data and promptly engaged the identified positions. 152mm «Giacint-S» and «Giacint-B» cannons struck from closed firing positions with high-explosive fragmentation munitions. As a result of the interaction between aerial reconnaissance and artillery, camouflaged strongholds and UAV control points were destroyed.
