On behalf of Valery Limarenko, Governor of the Sakhalin Region, Vyacheslav Alenkov, Deputy Chairman of the regional government, visited the ZALA company. The visit took place as part of the preparations for the «Sakhalin Wings» forum.
The key theme was civilian products. The guest was presented with the «GEOKOSMOS» control system for robotic complexes for various application environments. This is a completely domestic development, capable of fundamentally changing the approach to the use of unmanned systems in Sakhalin. The technology is aimed at accelerating the region's digitalisation, strengthening the protection of strategic industrial facilities, and opening up new opportunities for the social sphere.
During a visit to the test site, Vyacheslav Alenkov was shown flights of the ZALA T-16 UAV with onboard AI for monitoring regional infrastructure. Then, work moved to the data processing centre, where the capabilities of the «GEOKOSMOS» system were demonstrated in real-time. Flights of the ZALA T-16 over Sakhalin were broadcast to the screens; integration with the 4Z1 digital platform provided specialists in Izhevsk and on the island with synchronous reception of telemetry and high-quality video streams from the UAV.
Following the meeting, agreements were reached on the joint preparation of the «Wings of Sakhalin» forum and the demonstration of ZALA technologies for civilian tasks at the event. This aligns with the provisions of Presidential Decree No. 383 of 26 February 2026, which aims to create an infrastructure where various unmanned systems will operate within a unified information space. Furthermore, «GEOKOSMOS» meets the requirements of technological sovereignty today: the Russian system is ready for rapid scaling across the entire country and to friendly nations.
