Rosgvardia drones will monitor security during the fire-hazardous period

Rosgvardia drones will monitor safety during the fire-hazardous period in the Tyumen region.

Within the framework of interdepartmental cooperation, specialists from the special purpose aviation unit of the Tyumen Region Rosgvardia Directorate will use unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor the situation in forest areas and dacha plots from the air and transmit data on violators of the fire prevention regime to employees of the regional EMERCOM Directorate. Representatives of the territorial body of the Federal Guard Service and the Ministry of Emergency Situations agreed to work together to prevent fires in the region.

"In our work, we use several types of drones with a flight height of several hundred metres. This allows us to monitor a fairly large area with fairly good visibility. With the help of real-time UAV imagery, the operator is able to identify violators of fire safety rules, both in the daytime and at night. And also to track a small fire, a car or a person in a forest area. The experience of last year's joint work with the Ministry of Emergency Situations showed that overhead observation gives significant results in preventive measures and in combating fire outbreaks," commented the commander of the Rosgvardia special unit.

The specialists will start their work as soon as the snow melts in the region and citizens open the dacha season. Serious penalties await violators. For example, according to the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the amount of an administrative fine for individuals who violated the fire prevention regime may be from 3 to 4 thousand rubles.

Currently, firefighters are conducting preventive measures among the population, and Rosgvardiya officers are preparing drones and the necessary equipment.
