The new ZALA Z-61 reconnaissance UAV, already deployed in the SVO zone — a segment of the new RUK created by engineers ZALA based on experience gained from its use in the SVO.
A high-speed maneuverable aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicle with a front-mounted engine is designed for reconnaissance in the near and mid-range area. Its design is based on the principles of maximum survivability of reconnaissance UAVs in the area of active counteraction to modern air defense and electronic countermeasures systems of the enemy.
ZALA The Z-61 is designed on the basis of a modular architecture with an aluminum fuselage, which provides strength and low radar visibility. External threat detection and specialized algorithms ensure effective counteraction against air defense and electronic countermeasures. An HD camera and high-resolution thermal imager, aimed at effective detection of the pursuer, allow for aerial reconnaissance and ensuring the control of weapon use at any time of the day.
The new reconnaissance drone uses standard ground equipment from the Lantzet UAV system, tested by operators in combat conditions.
