ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance aircraft helped the Russian Armed Forces conduct airstrikes against AFU facilities in Zaporozhye

The Russian Air Force launched airstrikes against Ukrainian defence units in Zaporizhzhya Region. The coordination and objective control of the work of Su-34 aircraft crews was ensured by ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance UAS calculations. It is reported that as a result of the effective use of FAB-500 aerial bombs from the UMPK, the temporary deployment points of units of the 108th separate brigade of the AFU territorial defence in the settlements of Omelnyk and Egorovka were destroyed.

ZALA Z-16 UAS calculations conduct round-the-clock reconnaissance of targets and enemy actions along the entire line of contact of the Strategic Defence Forces. Real-time data on detected AFU targets are transmitted to the Russian Armed Forces headquarters. In addition, ZALA UASs regularly serve as objective control means for the Russian Air and Space Forces' use of aerial bombs and are also used to coordinate artillery strikes and Lancet family barrage munitions.
