Combat commonwealth of ZALA "Lancet" and "Zoo" radars

The Zoo radar artillery reconnaissance system detected the firing position of a US-made M-198 155 mm towed howitzer.

"The station is used for counter-battery warfare, it allows us to identify enemy firepower. Based on the results of the work, we receive the coordinates of the point of projectile exit and transmit them to the control centre. After that, additional reconnaissance is carried out with the help of UAVs, and the confirmed target is hit with fire," said the head of the radar station with the call sign "Serb"

The coordinates of the position of the enemy gun were specified by the operator of the ZALA Z-16 reconnaissance drone.

After receiving the exact coordinates of the artillery position, the operator aimed a ZALA Lancet barrage munition and destroyed the gun and its crew.

The use of the Zoo-Park radar in conjunction with the Lancet radar extends the capabilities of counter-battery warfare. ZALA Lancet barrage munitions have become one of the most actively used means of counter-battery warfare. According to open sources, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Lancets have hit more than 3,500 AFU targets.
