ZALA MEDICAL: a new-generation ventilator
ZALA presents a portable ventilator designed to provide prolonged respiratory support to the wounded and injured in field conditions, in air ambulance services and in intensive care units. It is designed to operate in dusty and smoky environments, as well as under varying temperatures and humidity levels. The built-in artificial intelligence continuously analyses the patient’s condition and advises the doctor on the optimal respiratory support strategy.
Key design features ensure maximum reliability, high autonomy and ease of operation in stressful conditions with minimal preparation time. The use of an energy-efficient brushless turbine makes it possible to use the device without the need to connect to an oxygen cylinder. The removable rechargeable battery provides up to 12 hours of standalone operation, while the additional built-in backup battery allows the removable battery to be hot-swapped without interrupting the ventilation process. The protected shock-resistant casing safeguards the device during transport and disinfection. The single-patient breathing circuit eliminates cross-infection. Deployment takes 30–60 seconds, enabling medical staff to start ventilation even in the most challenging conditions.
The range of ventilation modes covers all key clinical scenarios, and switching between modes is carried out quickly and intuitively via the direct button control interface.
